SPEAKING EVENTS AND TOURS
Methodist Children's Home offers a variety of speakers for presentations to churches, Sunday school classes, service organizations and civic groups. The following is a list of available speakers for your group, as well as the types of programs we typically participate in throughout Texas and New Mexico.

SPEAKERS
Campus Staff
Methodist Children's Home administrators and development officers are available to share their personal experiences with the children as well as facts about the residential program, Boys Ranch and foster care program. Speakers communicate the mission of Methodist Children's Home and provide a biblical message to help illustrate the work God is doing in the lives of our children and youth.

College Students
Each child who graduates with a "C" or better grade average is eligible for a scholarship from Methodist Children's Home. Young men and women who have been through our programs and now benefit from the continued care of Home while attending college are available to share their inspirational stories.

TYPES OF PROGRAMS
Sermon time
Methodist Children's Home speakers are invited to attend church services on a Sunday morning and address the congregation for 20 to 25 minutes.

Featured speaking event
Speakers are invited to district programs, United Methodist Women's or Men's groups, civic groups and Sunday School classes to share facts and stories at various times during the week.

CAMPUS TOURS
The main campus of Methodist Children's Home is located on a 130-acre campus in northwest Waco. Seventeen home units provide housing for the 180 residents on the main campus. The Methodist Children's Home Boys Ranch is located near Axtell, about 10 miles northeast of Waco. The working ranch provides services for 50 boys, ages 12-18.

Methodist Children's Home encourages groups and individuals to make a personal visit to the campus. Tours of the main campus and Boys Ranch can be completed within two hours. Tours are often led by residents.
